Knowledge is Power...
...Information is
Cheap
They who worship Practice (Avidya) alone fall into blind darkness,
and they who worship Knowledge (vidya) alone fall as though
into an even greater darkness.
A little knowledge, echoing the words of the wise does not a genius make...
it takes lots of practice and understanding.
Everyone wants one thing and that one thing is personal freedom.
Behind many diverse statements one hears..."If I had my will...", "If I had
the freedom to..." , If only I had the money I would have the freedom to..."
In order to have this freedom the first thing that one has to do is
define who they are. This I call Personal Virtues. We all have to establish who
we are within ourselves. This is something that cannot be told but has to be discovered.
This is a subject of personal virtues, personal education, personal
economics, personal passion, personal freedom. These principles of yoga
might be translated as Yoga Economics.
Health is a dynamic condition and as such is continually changing. The
intention then, is to increase the individuals ability to recognize these
changes to be able to enhance their health and vitality. Towards this
objective, everyone becomes a consumer.
Someone said to me once, “You are a genius, …but business runs the world”.
Genius does not run the world but business. One very highly respected physician
turned spiritual leader in the USA, calls it the 'business or spirituality.'
This want of spirituality usually has nothing to do with spirituality at all.
Yogarishi Deolal says: correct practice or postures (asanas) may lead you
to yoga, but yoga is not postures. Yoga is how you deal with energy (Prana), how
you deal with prana (energy) is how you deal with life.

This site is designed for
people who are seeking deeper understanding of themselves, Self Transformation
Program (STP). Since the physical
body is the gateway to subtler systems, it is necessary to have a greater
understanding of health, rejuvenation, flow and longevity. As an attempt to help
individuals break free from constricting paradigms, this site is also a
resource for alternative and integrative therapies.
Unfortunately if something
is beyond the scope of our experience, providing information about the same is
of little use.
There is a systematic way to approaching any subject matter and one should be
aware of this fact.
Not all therapies or philosophies will be discussed but an attempt to understanding
the subtle and subtler essences of ourselves will be made. I will continue to
find ways to help each one of us evolve, as I continue in this life long
evolutionary process.
In this effort one has to become aware of
misconceptions of health and medicine, which are very simply to form and
hard to change.
Immediately I must point out that there are two kinds of
knowledge one is theoretical and the other is experiential. Known as Sabda
Jnana and Brahma Jnana. Regardless of the
branch of study one finds there are those who will approach from a scholastic
point of view and then there are those who approach from a practical standpoint.
Those who possess practical, experiential knowledge are not easy to find, since
they are most probably in the field working.
The scholars are to be found everywhere and everything has to be
measured and fit into the confines of what makes scholarly sense. They are
referred to as the academic community. The matter of practical knowledge belongs
to another culture which I have treated in another page in depth and with
respect.
Here are a few to points to ponder on. There are some for whom
these will make sense and become a springboard
for deeper study, and of course there
many for whom these will mean nothing and that is quite alright.
